My artwork has always been my sounding board, documenting my life experiences, and providing opportunities for me to examine and evolve. Like abstract expressionists, the activity of creating is an important aspect to my work. Through layers screen printing and paint splattered, scraped, expressive brushstrokes, spontaneity and improvisation. I draw inspiration from my ever-changing surroundings. The beauty and architecture of the natural world as evidence by the use of plants and flowers in much of my artwork. My collection to this point documents many of my major life events as a woman, artist, mother, and military spouse living and traveling throughout the U.S.
